Landmark Groundbreaking Ceremony on Monday Signals Official Start of Construction on New Hospital Project
The sud was turned Monday afternoon signaling the start of construction works in earnest on the New Hospital project at the existing site in St. John’s.
Minister for health, Dr., the Honourable Ingrid Buffonge said the landmark occasion is the culmination of a long ask for the people of Montserrat.
She said the breaking of ground gives the government and people of Montserrat hope and encouragement towards a vision of excellence in health care delivery.
Dr Buffonge added that the new chapter in health care marks the realization of years of unwavering determination, tireless effort and collaborative spirit toward one common goal.
