Montserrat Youth Represents in Whale and Dolphin Research Project

Youth Ocean advocate Donnique Benn, has been selected to join the Caribbean Cetacean Society (CCS) for a regional cetacean research expedition.

Set for March 30 to April 13, the expedition will span Martinique, Dominica, Guadeloupe, and Montserrat.

The research expedition aims to deepen scientific understanding and preservation efforts for cetaceans, the intelligent marine mammals that include whales, dolphins, and porpoises.

It is also expected to bolster Montserrat’s capacity under the Montserrat Marine Megafauna Project, an initiative of Fish 'N Fins.

Fish N’ Fins CEO Veta Wade said Donnique’s leadership and passion for marine conservation will undoubtedly inspire others and contribute to a brighter future for both the community and the natural world.
