Director of Beauty for Ashes Documentary Highlights Residents' Passion for Montserrat
The director of the recently released documentary based on the story of Montserrat, says that witnessing residents’ passion for the island was a highlight for him.
Director and producer, John Hunter Mottern, was speaking on the Cultural Show last Saturday about the documentary, Beauty for Ashes, a film that outlines the history of volcanic eruptions here and discusses the issues of Montserrat and the nation’s journey to forge a clear path for the country’s future.
Mottern said he was impressed when young residents got involved in the film, especially when discussing the future of Montserrat.
The director also explained the main theme of the documentary and what he anticipates the outcome to be.
