Local Ocean Advocate Outlines Challenges Fishers Face in the Region

Montserratian Ocean Advocate, Veta Wade, has been outlining some of the challenges that regional fishers face on a daily basis.

Appearing as a guest on Antigua and Barbuda Broadcasting Services’ morning programme, ABS TV Today, Wade outlines that until these challenges are tackled head-on, fishers who ply their trade will continue to struggle.

Wade, who leads the non-profit “Fish N Fins” organization, is working to promote exclusive growth in climate resilience in Caribbean communities through innovated marine conservation projects.

Wade also discusses various ways to build climate resilience in the region.
