Project Manager for Meridian Construction Company Gives Update on Construction of Caisons
Meridian Construction Company, contractors for the new port development project in Little Bay, is reporting that they are pushing ahead with the building and placing of the concrete caisons at the site.
Project manager, Peter Wattenhoffer says they are in a much better position now that they have more capable equipment to assist with the stepping up of production. The requirement is 300 caisions.
In an interview with ZJB News, Mr Whattenhofer says with the placing of the caisions on the seabed in the vicinity of the pier, preparation is also being made to secure them now that the hurricane season is here.
