Buried City will be shown on Saturday 3 June due to popular demand

Due to the overwhelming response to the first showing of the “Buried City” documentary, the tourism officials have announced an encore.

The Tourism Division announced that the documentary, which was well received will be shown again on Saturday June 3rd.

The highly anticipated film, which is part of the Lost Worlds series, chronicles the experiences of Montserratians during and in the aftermath of the devastating volcanic crisis will be shown at the Cultural Center at 7:00pm.

The premiere, earlier this week, drew a large crowd of locals who were eager to see the film.

The ninety-minute documentary was both informative and emotional, with many viewers moved to tears as they revisited their personal experiences of the disaster and the ways in which they have adapted to life on the island following the eruptions.
