New Hot Mix Plant in Final Stages of Commissioning
The Ministry of Communications Works Energy and Labour says it is in the final stages of commissioning the new hot mix plant.
Acting Director of the Public Works Department Glenroy Foster says representatives of the supplier have been on the ground putting the plant together.
He says they are putting on the finishing touches before handing over to the government of Montserrat, and if all goes according to plan the plant could start producing asphalt by May.

Speaking to ZJB News Moises Esquivel says it has a lifespan of 20 years, and with its high tech components will provide the PWD will several asphalt mixes to accommodate different road works requirements.
