A Consultant with Green Solutions International is advocating for the government of Montserrat and other governments region-wide, as well as funding agencies to collaborate to fund workplace development programmes.
Dr Wayne Archibald, who is accompanied by Taiyi West, says such programmes should embrace recruitment, training and the provision of economic opportunities for low income earners, especially women.
In an interview with ZJB News, Dr Archibald, who is part of a team contracted to undertake installation of solar panels on health centres on Montserrat, says the whole idea is to comply with the “green theme” that is being undertaken across the region and beyond.
