Residents Cautioned to be on Guard for Eventuality of Dengue Outbreak on Montserrat

Although it is too early to declare a dengue outbreak on island, the Director of Primary Health Care in the Ministry of Health is warning residents to be on guard for such an eventuality.

Appearing on the Breakfast Show Thursday, Dr Dorothea Hazel-Blake said that a few persons have been presenting here with symptoms of the virus.

She highlights the need to be vigilant as neighbouring islands have dengue outbreaks and people are traveling to and from Montserrat.
