Public Service Reform Gets Renewed Commitment from Government

The government of Montserrat has reinforced its commitment to reforming the public service.

At its August 18th meeting, Cabinet noted the aim to have the Public Service appropriately equipped to deliver government policy.

According to the executive, reform would be progressed as opportunities arise, and where there is the greatest need.

Changes within the current financial and headcount envelopes will also be actioned. 

Cabinet says all opportunities will aim to include development, training and mobility opportunities.
