Montserrat’s Leader of Government Business Hails the Success of the COVID-19 Protocols
Premier, the Honourable Joseph Farrell is hailing what he says is the success of the Ministry of Health in managing the Covid-19 pandemic on island.
He laments that the protocols that are in place, especially at the John A. Osborne Airport to test people on arrival have revealed measurable success.
Premier Farrell contends that by establishing these protocols at the port of entry by air, the Ministry of Health has been successful in preventing community spread to date.
He says that it is against this background that government is looking at a phased reopening of the island’s borders come October.
