Timely Donation Toward Saving the Children's Summer School Programme Here
The John Sweeney’s Montserrat Fund continues to show it’s unwavering support to the Montserrat Society.
The fund on Thursday, made a generous donation to a local charity group that has launch an online fundraising drive aimed at saving the Montserrat Children's Summer School Programme.
Local representative for the fund, Elizabeth Piper Wade, presented a check in the amount of 2000 EC to President of the Montserrat Children's Society, Margret Ainsworth, for use in their 2021 Summer Camp.

Montserrat Children's Summer School Programme, is an annual initiative by the Montserrat Children's Society which caters to children aged 4-7 and offers both academic and leisure experiences over a six-week period.
The charity has so far raised 640 pounds, 2,360 pounds shy of the 3000 pounds or 20,000 EC needed for the programme.
