Montserrat’s Leader of Government Business Announces Delay in Presentation of 2021/2022 Budgetary Package

There will once again be a delay in the Joseph Farrell-led administration’s 2021 budget speech. 

This was confirmed by the Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Joseph Farrell. 

In an address to the nation on Tuesday, Premier Farrell revealed that the 2021 budget has not yet been approved by the United Kingdom and as such this year’s budget presentation will be late. 

Montserrat receives 60% of its annual budget from the UK government.
