Montserrat’s Governor Advocates Structural Reform as the Foundational Process to Advance Public Sector Restructuring
The debate around Public Sector reform on Montserrat has taken yet another twist.
Following several fallouts leading to the process being halted, Governor, His Excellency Andrew Pearce has stated that the reforms needed in the public service of Montserrat are structural.
He outlines that attempts at trying to reform the public service by amending the Public Administration Act have failed so that work had to be stopped.
Governor Pearce is now advocating structural reform going forward as a foundation for the process to advance seamlessly.
