Former Premier Meade Makes Case For Investment Agency

A former Premier and economist has made a very strong case for investors to come to Montserrat.

However, Reuben T. Meade says the enabling environment has to be created for such an initiative to take place.

He says that one cannot get investment into Montserrat by just sitting around and hoping that the British is going to help in that regard as it relates to private sector investment.

The former premier explains that even though the British government facilitates such a process, they will not go out and do the bidding.
