Montserrat’s Parliament Among Those in the Region With a Role to Ensure the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Set by Government are Achieved
The Houses of Parliament across Montserrat and the rest of the Caribbean region have a crucial and fundamental role to play in the future direction of all the islands.
So says speaker of the Trinidad and Tobago Parliament, Bridgette Anesia George.
Appearing on the latest “Speaker’s Chair” programme, hosted by Montserrat’s Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Charlina White, Speaker George says the role of parliaments region-wide is to ensure that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) that governments have set are achieved.
