St. George's Hill - Exciting Addition To Montserrat's Tourism Product

Tourism officials believe St. Georges Hill would be an exciting addition to Montserrat’s tourism product.

On Friday August 14, 2020, Premier and Minister tourism the Honourable Joseph Farrell, led a site visit to the site of the old fort on the outskirts of the former capital Plymouth.

Director of Tourism Warren Solomon believes St. Georges Hill has the potential to be one of Montserrat’s most attractive sites.

Tour operator Roselyn Cassell Sealy is hoping the government moves quickly to prepare the area in time for the reopening of the island’s borders.

The government believes the demand for new tours in Montserrat is very high.

It says the cruise ship industry has been satisfied with the overall experience in Montserrat, but there is a need to add more sites to enhance the visitor experience further.
