70 Montserratians Benefit from Central Bank's Covid-19 Relief Programme

Some 70 persons on Montserrat have benefited from the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and the ECCU Bankers Association COVID-19 support programme.

This was revealed by Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Dr Timothy Antoine.

The ECCB in March announced the programme, which gave residents the opportunity to have a deferral on their loan repayments, and a waiver of late fees and charges, for an initial period of six months with a possible extension upon review.
