Operating an Electric Vehicle Proved to be Cheaper than an Internal Combustion Vehicle
An analysis by the Energy Unit has revealed that it is cheaper to operate an electric vehicle than one that runs on fossil fuel.
The project is in line with a government of Montserrat sanctioned policy to help reduce energy consumption in the transportation sector.
Energy officer at Ministry of Communication, Works, Energy and Labour, Oswen Carty said it was observed that the electric vehicle saved almost twice as much energy as the internal combustion vehicle.
