Dr. Julius Underscores the Role of Parents During the Covid Period
The Director of Education says now more than ever parents have an important role to play in their child’s learning during this COVID-19 era.
Dr. Gregory Julius says with the absence of face-to-face learning, parents now have to adjust and become facilitators in the online learning environment.
He was speaking on the “COVID-19: Supporting our Children” radio programme, when he highlighted ways in which parents can facilitate online learning.
Dr. Julius says, as teaching and learning transition to online, parents need to improve their cyber security as a way of managing and supervising the content their children are exposed to.
