Parents Encouraged to Continue Home Schooling for Preschoolers
With Nursery schools closed until September, Early Childhood Education Officer Inez Thompson is appealing to parents to continue home schooling.
Mrs. Thompson says it is important that children continue to be exposed to learning in order to ensure their cognitive development.
She was at the time speaking on the radio programme “COVID-19 Supporting Our Children” aired Mondays on ZJB.
Thompson also recommended a number of activities parents can use to foster learning through play.
