COVID-19 Pandemic Complicating Preparations for the Hurricane Season
Chair of the National Disaster Preparedess Response Advisory Committee Governor Andrew Pearce says COVID-19 is presenting a few challenges for the 2020 hurricane season.
There are seven designated hurricane shelters on the island, but with the corona virus, still a threat the authorities are looking at how to apply social distancing and other health protocols.
Governor Pearce says the other major challenge is what to do with the Hospital ahead of a possible hurricane.
