Former Director of Education Enters Political Field

Former director of education Glen Francis has declared his candidacy for the upcoming elections.

Mr. Francis, who is also a past principal of the Montserrat secondary school, will be running as an independent.

He has pointed to a litany of problems that need to be addressed including healthcare, training programs for students, the closure of the MDC and the public service.

Other independents who have declared their intention to contest the election are Dunstan Lindsey, Karen Allen and Victor James.
