Nurse of the Year Goes on Attachment in St Lucia

Nurse of the Year Louanna Joyce will begin medical attachments at various Medical Facilities in St Lucia this weekend.

Nurse Joyce’s trip comes after she captured the 2018/19 Montserrat Civil Service Association Nurse of the Year Award.

As a part of Nurse Joyce's prize, she received a round trip ticket to St. Lucia, where she will be undertaking attachments at various Medical Facilities to include the Victoria Hospital, the Gros Islet Polyclinic, and the Millennium Heights Medical Complex/ Owen King Hospital.

The return airfare to St. Lucia for the Nurse of the Year Award was sponsored by the Honourable Member of the Opposition, Dr Samuel Joseph.

Nurse Joyce told ZJB that she is extremely excited for the experience.

Nurse Joyce’s attachments will run from February 23 to March 1 2019.
