Former Opposition Leader Sworn in as Premier

The Honourable Easton Taylor Farrell was on Tuesday sworn in as Premier of Montserrat following his victory in the general election held on Monday November 18th.

The Premier led his Movement for Change and Prosperity (MCAP) Team to victory winning 5 of the 9 seats at stake.

Premier, the Honourable Easton Taylor Farrell said he was humbled by the confidence the people of Montserrat have placed in him and his team.

The new Premier appealed for unity and an end to the divisiveness displayed during the election campaign.
