Hon. Paul Lewis Updates Public on Port Development Project

The Government of Montserrat has stepped up awareness campaign as it relates to the next steps for the development of the break water and berthing facilities at the Little Bay Port.

Honourable minister with responsibility for ports Paul Lewis, speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, says they are at a very crucial stage of the project development.

Mr. Lewis says that key personnel critical to the project will be announced soon.

These, he says include project coordinator, project engineer, clerk of works and liason officer.

Meantime, team leader of Stantech Consultant International, Harold Westerman, says the company is pleased to have been selected to assist the government of Montserrat and the Port Authority to development a permanent deep water port facility in Little Bay.
