DPP Calls For Some Cases To Be Tried By Judges Only
Director of Public Prosecution Oris Sullivan says the time has come for trials by judges only in Montserrat.
Mr Sullivan, speaking at the opening of the New Law Year, says there is a public perception of miscarriage of justice in some cases.
He says the feeling is shared by other DPP's in the OECS, who are also of the view that some cases are not adjudged properly.
Mr. Sullivan says the public is very concerned, and called for the powers that be to act on his recommendation.
