LICB Official Says Montserrat is Open for Business

A top Leeward Islands Cricket Board (LICB) official has been making a case to the world that Montserrat is open for business.  

……..And Director of Cricket Development at the LICB, Vernon Springer, says Radio Montserrat has been playing a pivotal role in selling the island on different fronts.

Speaking on a recent “Spotlight” programme on the topic “Sports Tourism”, Mr. Springer used the coverage provided by the Community Radio Station for both the just-concluded Under-17 and Under-19 cricket tournaments to drive home his point. 

He said it was testament to the flexibility of the station to vary its output to cater to topical events at the right time and season
