Premier Joins OECS Heads in Gros Islet For High-level Summit

Premier Donaldson Romeo is leaving one high level meeting in London to head into another.

The Premier will join other OECS Heads of Government for the 65th meeting of the OECS Authority from June 18th to 19th in Gros Islet St. Lucia.

The Authority is the highest decision making body of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and comprises Heads of Government whose decisions direct the work of OECS.

It is expected that all 10 Heads of Government will attend the summit to discuss matters related to climate change, trade, border security, external representation, applications for membership and other areas of regional priority.
