Rotary Donates Science Supplies to MSS

The local chapter of the International Service Organization, Rotary on Friday morning donated science lab supplies and equipment to the Montserrat Secondary School (MSS).

The Students and Educators there will now have access to the educational supplies which have been donated by the club as part of its Science Lap Support Project.

The supplies which include clamps, test kits, thermometers, pitchers, stop watch sets, scalpel blades, test tubes, flasks and dissecting sets were procured by the local club, thanks to grant from the Rotary District 7030.

The cost of the Project is $7500.

Minister of Education, the Honourable Delmaude Ryan accepted the supplies on behalf of the school and handed them over to the School's Principal Cherlyn Hogan who thanked the Rotary Executive Members for the support.

Minister Ryan implored the students to use the equipment to improve their knowledge of  science.

 

 

Assistant Governor of Rotary District 7030 Braimah Kassim expressed the club’s intention to support the MSS in anyway possible in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
