Farmers Cry Foul Over Animal Theft

Livestock farmers on island are crying foul over what they have described as “a recent spate of theft of their animals” by unknown persons across the island.

The farmers are saying that the dangerous precedent was established around the period leading up to the St. Patrick’s festival, and is continuing up to present

They are claiming that this practice is undermining their efforts to ensure that sufficient, quality meat products are available for local consumption.

Speaking on behalf of the farmers who have suffered loss, outspoken livestock farmer, Richard Samuel, is calling on the powers that be to come to their aid in an effort to quell this scourge.
