Soufrière Hills Volcano Remains the Selling Point for Montserrat
Montserrat’s Deputy Premier has confirmed that the volcano would remain a central selling point as the government moves forward with the implementation of its Tourism Development Strategy.
Speaking on the Good Morning Antigua and Barbuda television programme on Thursday, she said the Strategy will be financed by the European Development Fund under the EDF 11 Programme.
Mrs. Ryan believes the buried capital of Plymouth and other landmarks such as the Volcano Observatory will draw visitors to the island, in larger numbers.
