Delmaude Ryan ensures provisions for children with special needs
The Honourable minister of Education Delmaude Ryan says the necessary steps have been taken to ensure that children with special needs are catered for in the schools.
The assurance comes as the ministry tries to recruit a replacement education psychologist.
Mrs. Ryan says a package of care has been developed including special education needs teachers, personal assistants and liaison officers.
She also explained in the Legislative Assembly that the government primary schools are equipped with trained special education needs teachers.
