Maroon Planned for Carr’s Bay on December 18th

A Community cleanup of the Carr’s Bay area to beautify the island in preparation for the 2018 Year end Festival is scheduled for aimed a Saturday.

The Women’s Resource Centre in conjunction with the Office of the Legislative Assembly is planning its 4th annual Carr’s Bay maroon.

Coordinator of the maroon and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Shirley Osborne says the initiative aims to create a community space for residents.

Meanwhile,

Osborne is calling on community, church and youth groups along with residents to support the initiative.
