Montserrat’s Minister of Education Believes Sex Education Should be Taught in Schools

The transmission of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and teenage pregnancies are two of the biggest challenges facing policy makers in the region.

That’s the view of Montserrat’s minister of education Delmaude Ryan.

She was speaking on the programme Education: Raising the Bar on Tuesday, when the question of teaching family life and sex education in the schools were addressed.

Mrs. Ryan says she is an advocate for teaching family life and sex education in the schools.
