Her Majesty's Prison Seeks Prison Cook

 The Government is inviting applications from persons who have been resident on Montserrat for at least one (1) year to fill the post of Prison Cook.  Successful candidates will be expected to work on a Shift Rota system including weekends and bank holidays.

 Applicants:

·       Should have received a Certificate of completion of Secondary School Education OR gained three (3) or more subject passes at O’ Level CXC or GCE in Food & Nutrition, English & Mathematics;

·       Should have a Certificate in Food Preparation & Presentation Techniques; Food handling would be an asset;

·       Must have three (3) years’ experience in planning and preparation of meals;

·       Should not have any criminal convictions in this jurisdiction or elsewhere.

SALARY

 Basic Salary is in the scale R48-R38, that is EC$21,720 - EC$28,596 per annum (Taxable).

 Appointment will be made on a permanent basis, with a probationary period of two (2) years.
