Minister for Agriculture, Honourable John P. Osborne says upcoming exhibition- Agri Expo 2026 is aimed at reviving interest in agriculture, and encouraging more people in Montserrat to produce locally. Speaking on Tuesday’s What’s on Your Mind radio programme, Minister Osborne said the exhibition is part of the Ministry’s efforts to bring back initiatives that previously motivated people to become involved in agriculture. He said organizers are working to showcase the range of agricultural activities on the island, with competition categories including horticulture, agro-processed products and agricultural production systems. He said the aim is to make the exhibition a success and build on the experience to improve future events, with the possibility of holding the Agri Expo annually or every two years.
