The Commissioner of Police is reporting over 100 fewer incidents in 2025.
In an interview with ZJB News, Mark Payne said the reduction is a positive indicator that residents continue to live in a safe and peaceful environment.
Commissioner Payne said Montserrat enjoys exceptionally low crime levels, something residents should take pride in.
He said the most frequent crime seen on island is civil disputes.
Commissioner Payne said there are small amounts of serious crimes on the island.
