Government Begins Work On Developing Population Policy
The process of developing a national population policy began on Montserrat on Tuesday.
Senior government officials met at the Cultural Center to discuss the Population Situation Analysis..PSA.
Acting Premier, Dr. the Honorable Samuel Joseph delivered a speech at the event, stating the need to address retention and growth of the country’s population.

The development of a Population Policy is an effort supported by the UN Joint Programme on "Integrated Population Data and Policy Solutions to Accelerate sustainable Development Goals (SDGs’) Achievement in Barbados and Montserrat".
