MNI Boys & Girls Recognizes Outstanding Students

MNI Boys and Girls, a non profit organization held its awards ceremony for outstanding students on the island.

The group gave out awards for Leadership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Culture, at a ceremony, at the Tropical Mansions Hotel on Monday December 23rd.

Ervincia Liburd, Hadassa Williams, Meryann Reyes Mendez, and Kimbal Weekes, were recognized for their leadership while Innovation awards went to Nahuel Romero, Ruenezme Meade, and Jeniqua McNarrin.

Kiemoyah Piper, Elias Lee, and Denua Benjamin copped the awards for Entrepreneurship, and awards for Culture were bestowed on Innistia Morson, Kai Gray, Khassidy Wade and Gabriel Thomas

Member of the group Keane Halley says their vision is to bring forth change in the younger generation through organized programmes, providing supplies and access to resources.

Among the accomplishments of MNI Boys and Girls is the annual School Supplies Drive, Pay It Forward - a peer to peer outreach, tablets to Brades Primary School teachers, a mentorship programme for primary school children, and assisting vulnerable families with school supplies.

Founder Kevin Show Time Lee explained his motivation to keep the programming going.
