Two Years Before Montserrat Emerges From Covid-19

A Montserrat born medical practitioner believes it could be at least another 18 to 24 months before Montserrat can declare victory against the coronavirus.

Dr. Brenda Osborne, who practices medicine in the United States says the situation on island would not be stable until at least 60 per cent of the population have been vaccinated against covid-19.

Speaking on Brain Power on Monday Dr. Osborne says until then social distancing and personal hygiene would have to be practiced are the best defences against the pandemic.

Dr. Osborne says a proper diet is also important, especially for those persons who have underlying health issues.
