Parliamentary Secretary, Opposition Leader Attend PAC Workshop

A two member delegation of parliamentarians will head to Trinidad for the Commonwealth Association of Public Accounts Committee for a regional workshop series.

Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Social Services, the Honourable Veronica Dorsette and Leader of the Opposition, the Honourable Paul Lewis will attend the January 21 to 23rd.

The workshop will be attended by members and of the Commonwealth Public Accounts Committees from across the Caribbean.

It will require delegates to work collaboratively on themes such as communication, consensus and relationship building and to participate in practical and interactive exercises to put learning into practice.

It will offer Montserrat’s representatives the unique opportunity to learn more about the challenges Public Accounts Committees in the region face and the ways these are being met by their colleagues.
