Youth Parliamentarian Alana Kassie will represent Montserrat at the upcoming UK Youth Parliament Sitting in the House of Commons, London next month.
Born and raised in Montserrat, Ms Kassie carries the spirit of her community wherever she goes.
Now studying Business and Entrepreneurship at Waltham Forest College, she also serves as Finance Officer of the Student Union.
A former Leader of the Opposition in the Montserrat National Youth Parliament, published author, and award-winning youth advocate, Kassie embodies the next generation of Montserratian leadership — purposeful, passionate, and proud.
Her leadership journey began at the age of 14 years when she became the youngest member of the Montserrat National Youth Parliament to serve as leader of the opposition from 2022 through to 2023
The UK Youth Parliament Sitting will take place on Thursday, 6 November 2025.
