Village 664, a group of Montserratians overseas, is advancing the setting up of a Montserrat Diaspora Medical Professionals Registry.
The Registry is being built to understand the skills within the diaspora, and explore how they can support Montserrat’s health sector.
Village 664 says this is necessary to help identify expertise, and consider future health initiatives, partnerships and emergency support.
The organization says the Registry will strength connections between diaspora professionals and local health efforts.
Chairman Derek Osborne says the network is growing, as individuals with diverse backgrounds, and experience are stepping forward with the goal of building a sustainable Montserrat.
Village 664 was introduced in March 2024 with a collective vision that unites Montserratians globally, and the aim transforming Montserrat into a thriving ‘Choice Destination’.
